Foreclosure Rates Rose In Baltimore Area During September

A report from a national real restate data firm indicates that the foreclosure and mortgage delinquencies rates within the Greater Baltimore area were higher this past September.

According to the CoreLogic's monthly report released Tuesday, nearly 4.05 percent of mortgage loans within Baltimore and six surrounding counties-- including Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Hartford, Howard, and Queen Anne's--were in foreclosure

The number is up from 2.74 percent in September 2011.
